Thank goodness someone is kicking it off because cashless societies would be a nightmare and those supporting it don't really understand what it entails ultimately. They ought to search for Project Icebreaker and CBDC and see if they'd be okay with it (probably would because... "convenience").

Meh. Dollar's not backed by anything and if shit goes sideways it's just paper, much like credit cards would be just plastic. I have a hard time not being apathetic toward the subject.

im on the fence in the subject, having union joe sniffing around all the time so he can get 10% isnt ideal by any means, but on the opposite side of the coin, if it makes things easy for the business, why not.
