Actually you can probably restore the CIA save directly into the AS rom if you have the Homebrew Launcher and use SVDT.

Oh yeah that's right, HBL and SVDT doesn't use higher permissions, so it's a good alternative for someone without CFW with CIA support.


Also a post above says that savedatafiler doesn't work with retail cartridges.
That statement isn't true.
You just need the correct CFW that allows CIA and retail cart usage.
