Homebrew checkpoint not creating saves on sd card

So im trying to move my games' save data to citra using checkpoint and when i backup the games and get the "Success! Progress correctly saved to disk" message and then turn off the 3ds and insert my sd card inside my laptop i dont see any of my newer saves inside, did anyone encounter something like this before?

Sounds like it could be an issue with your sd card. I recommend testing it with h2testw
