Hi guys. I am wanting to use the Unlock Bugs/Materials Edizon code for Skyward Sword, but is that code causing issues in said game? I read several pages back on here about the Thunder Dragon issue that is game breaking? What code, if any, causes that issue? Is it safe to use the Bugs/Materials unlock code? No, you have to unwind the loop and make it flat.

I change the pointer for the PP (Pin Points).
Sometimes the old one would lose the address when restarting.
And I add the cheat for the FP (Friend Points).

The game overwrites where it has these values at certain times: when it changes districts, when a battle ends, etc.
That's why I used a conditional, because if I left it fixed, the game crashes.
For the moment it works but I can't test it in the whole game.

Does anybody know how to fix not being able to use the top right pouch slot in Skyward HD? Either or both the "99x Bugs/ Treasures" or the "Unlocked Bug/Treasure Slots" codes disabled it and I am trying to use codes to re-enable it (it had a Goddess Shield in it).
hi can somebody help me? i was playing the latest update of YS Lacrimosa of dana and noticed there was no cheats for that version, so i downloaded the update 1.04 but when i try to start the game it doesnt play and ask me to update again to play, what can i do? or should i just give up and play without cheats?

@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one

I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version

@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
