Hardware Cheap Minecraft laptop: looking for recommendations

Hi all

My nephew's laptop is on its last legs and my sister is looking to buy him a new one for Christmas. She has asked me for help finding a suitable one, but I'm completely out of touch with PC hardware now.

Their budget is about £200 (about 250 USD or 230 EUR), and all he needs it for is Minecraft and the Internet. He uses mods in Minecraft, but he doesn't play any other games or do anything else with it.

Any recommendations for suitable hardware within the budget would be really appreciated!

It's pretty decent spec-wise, but looking at the reviews you're probably going to want to immediately re-install Windows as soon as you get it to get rid of bloatware so it doesn't run slow. It meets the minimum recommended specs for Minecraft
