Hacking Cfg USB Loader Freezes @ Album Cover Download

When I ran this on my SD, it was able to find album covers no problem, even GC games. Now that I've transferred over to a USB stick, my system freezes when it tries. I used the configurator to make the artwork path to USB: but it still freezes whenever I try.


I'm using the latest version, r78.10


It also happens when attempting to download plugins, such as Devolution.

What cIOSes do you have installed and did you set CFG to force to one of them? Some hard drives (like mine) don't play very well with the stock IOS58 USB module and freeze when writing. Making the loader use d2x in IOS249 fixed it.

I'll try that. I'm booting off a usb stick but let me see if forcing to 249 helps. I've got d2x on 249 n 250.
