Hey,

I recently modded 2 GBA SP, but my EZFlash Omega don't work on one of it now.
It's my childhood GBA SP, I used my EZFlash Omega all the time with it.
I already cleaned all the pin in the GBA SP and it don't want to work.

All other games and flashcard work on it, but not this one.
I can made it boot with some patience and trial and error, but it's just... bad, I just want it to boot directly.

Thanks for the help.

What was the mod? Some of the ones that pull extra power for things (usually screen based but there are some others) can interfere with things there.

IPS Screen. That's all.
I have done that multiples times without problem.
I was thinking it was a pin problem in the cardridge slot of the Green one, so I cleaned it with 99.8 isopropyl alcohol, but that don't fix the problem.

It's a fairly common issue with IPS modded consoles apparently but it doesn't happen to everyone. New battery may help.

Tested with OG battery and modified, don't work.
It happen only with the EzFlash, not other flashcard (Supercard tested)

I had so much grief with my Ez-Flash Omega that I bit the bullet and bought an Everdrive X5 Mini.

No issues at all with the Everdrive in my IPS modded GBA and modded GBA SP. It works perfectly and has yet to corrupt a single save game. It costs more but you can't beat the reliability and hardware quality.
