Can the switch oled be modchipped?

Idk not sure about buying one or holding off till they release a new switch pro iteration

But first I'd like to know beforehand whether you can install a modchip on the new oleds or not.

It's possible, but the chip wasn't developed for it, and therefore is doesn't fit inside the console. You can install it if you move and cut and break some stuff, but it works.
