Can someone translate chinese to english for me?

One of my homebrew apps has appeared in a chinese book (nice!) however I can not read chinese

Could someone please translate the following pages for me? I would love to know what they say...

Sadly not

but I did get a copy of the book although the cd got damaged in the post, so if anyone else has this book, it would be nice if someone could do my a copy of the cd

This appears to be a book where they put information you can easily and quickly find on the net and sell it for US$10 each.
