As long as you can access the shop channel without it asking for an update, it will work. I've recently reinstalled Link To The Past from the Shop Channel with my hacked Wii. It works exactly the same as an unmodded Wii.

Yes, so long as the correct IOS is installed. Open the Wii Shop Channel; if it says you need to update first, start Googling because I can't remember the correct IOS off the top of my head.

    On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.
