I've taken apart the PSP (1000) because I needed to replace the LCD screen, however, I accidentally knocked out the little rubber piece that helps with connecting the analog nub contact with the motherboard. I desperately tried to place it back the way it was but I can never adjust it properly so that the analog stick is neutral. It would always go to the top left. Any idea on how to fix this?
I've tried cleaning the contact on the motherboard and the analog nub with rubbing alcohol and the little rubber piece as well. I've even lifted the metallic LCD cage away from the contact and the PSP still reads the analog nub as going top-left even when there is no analog nub connected to it.
