Im having a lot of trouble trying to hack my 3ds. im using 3ds.hacks.guide and put in the specifications and its not working when i get to the qr code.
I have the new nintendo 3ds xl and the update version is 11.13.0-45U. i double and triple checked the steps to make sure im doing it right and i am but when i press "PROCEED TO HAXX" it freezes for a moment and brings me to the home screen saying "an error has occurred. Please save your data in any software currently in use, and then restart the system." and that's where I'm stuck and was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what I could try thank you.

Solution
The issue is that the toubleshooting page doesnt have the problem I'm having I guess I'll try reinstalling the files in case the install went wrong

reinstalling the files and trying again had the same issue. I also tried putting the files onto the sd card before putting it in the 3ds and the 3ds just created a bunch of 1 gigabyte files on it filling it up completely for some reason... I followed the guide very carefully and put the files where they're supposed to be.

I'm not really sure how to check if my 3ds has trouble reading sd cards it hasn't had any issues in the past though

So I figured it out. I had to go into the browser and click settings then click "Reset save data" then click...

I assume you are trying SSLoth-Browser
Relevant troubleshooting section:
https://3ds.hacks.guide/troubleshooting#installing-boot9strap-ssloth-browser

Double check all needed files are present and correctly named (if using Microsoft Windows it is a good idea to turn on file extensions → incomprehensible why MS set such a stupid default starting as early Windows 98 if I remember that correctly)

Please check your (empty) SD with h2testw or F3 before trusting it.
Even if the SD is seemingly good on PC, it might cause trouble in a 3DS. Try multiple (FAT32 and checked SDs)
===========

The slightly more complex Seedminer method is an alternative if you choose to update to latest version (there is no going back and the method you are trying now isn't possible anymore)

Good luck!

I checked the sd card and it had no errors. To be clear, I should update the 3ds and try the newest method?
After exhausting all possibilities (troubleshooting page above), I'd at least consider it. But if your console has any problems with reading SDs, this will not go away by an update. Please verify SD reading is working normally and all files are placed+named correctly.

I'm not familiar with the details of current B9S installation methods and exclusively use ntrboot for doing it (after learning the timing fast and very easy). Double and triple check everything is like The Guide says; >1 million consoles have been modified according to The Guide. It is well-tested.

Hello there! I dont know if youll ever see this, but im having the same issue.
Could you go into detail on how you resolved this issue? What do you mean by "Reset Save Data" you did this on the 3DS's internet browser? I clicked the little wrench is 3DS internet browser, then I have "Clear History" and "Delete Cookies" "Proxy Settings" and "Initialize Save Data" Which one should I click? Thank you ^^ Hope you can find this!

FIXED!!:
I cleared History and Deleted Cookies. And it worked. ^^ Thank you to OP for figuring this out ~ :D
