Yeah but... Where do they get the release information? I can never find these new roms anywhere on the internet when they first come out...

If you type "releasename" into google, it''l be one of the first few links.

Say you want tyo find Zelda II. just type "Zelda.II.The.Adventure.of.Link.NES.VC.USA.3DS-BigBlueBox" into google. or just copy and paste it. Not rocket science.

I've done that for most old releases, but most of the new one's I can never find by just doing that.

That wasn't my question, though. How does http://3ds.essh.co/ get the information so fast?

If you are in the know and trusted, you dont pay a cent for access to anything. pre channels, group channels, ftps etc, thats where it all starts.. Then trickles down to cyberlockers p2p etc.. Sites that Vengenceonu posted above would just be echoing from a prebot in a channel to the website

I wondered whether those GBA games ran properly or not.

You know Ambassador GBA games are running in DSiWare mode, which forces your 4.x console to be re-cracked by Blue-card every time you quitted DSiWare mode.

Although the GBA games don't require any sort of profile access, so possibly we could keep them from removing the exploit.

If the GBA games could ever be run on 3DS flashcarts doesn't that mean it might be possible to run DS roms?

No they run in AGB_RIRM mode so it doesn't wipe the dsi nvram data set the gateway installer. It does, however, wipe the gateway hack out of memory which forces you to do the Settings -- > Profile routine again to restore gateway mode.

That's what I've read up on, but doesn't that shit cost money?

Basically what tHciNc said in picture form: Just wait till it trickles down to a level where you can access.

They are the best release group imo, but I'm surprised they still haven't done Shovel Knight yet, it's one of the more talked about eshop games recently.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
