Okay what can i do xD
i can all try
Ok. Let's have a couple of good pictures of your install. As it is now.
Okay what can i do xD
i can all try
Ok. We need to establish exactly what straps you have connected.have nothing equipment here to open the switch. but can do it in the next days.
but solder job have do a french guy, i have nothing expierence in soldering.
software is better for me than hardware
Ok. We need to establish exactly what straps you have connected.
Do this...
Make sure joycons are connected to the switch.
Boot into normal firmware
Then press the reset button on your Switchme. Tell me what happens...
If you see a joycon disconnected symbol, you have one strap connected.
If you see joycon disconnected symbol AND volume goes up, both straps are connected. Can you find out please?
Ok. That leaves you with dual boot only.this is software side easy for me
okay have try it and when i press reset button i see only the right joycon disconnected symbol
Ok. That leaves you with dual boot only.
So, where are we at? Have you dragged a version 1 or version 2 uf2 over? Makes no difference which in your case.
Download my new file. On the last page.Version_1_trinket_rebug-joycon_only.uf2
have i use long time ago and not yet.
i have only copy the
Trinket_rebug.uf2 file.
Download my new file. On the last page.
Drag over version1, then double press reset again, leaving a pause. So switchboot comes up.
Then drag the other UF2 over you downloaded on previous page.
This one...
https://github.com/mattytrog/Basic-Modchip-UF2/blob/master/UF2/Trinket_Rebug.UF2?raw=true
Yes.i have download this version 1 file:
https://github.com/mattytrog/Ninten..._Pack/Version_1_trinket_rebug_joycon_only.uf2
You are holding down volume while turning the power on yes? Can you dual boot?Okay
have do it
first step boot into OFW
- double press with break (SWITCHBOOT) open drag this file over Version_1_trinket_rebug-joycon_only.uf2.
Next step disconnect from usb and connect with usb
-Switchboot open ( i drag this file over trinket_rebug.uf2
than restart the console.
And get same result boot into horizon
maybe its my switch im happy with NX dual boot this works

this is in my info file
UF2 Bootloader 04f58a7 SFHWRO
Model: Trinket M0
Board-ID: SAMD21E18A-Trinket-v0
I think there has been a colossal misunderstanding.
All you will EVER be able to do is dual boot.
You do not have vol+ strap connected.
Only solution for permanent boot into CFW is autoRCM.
Oh right. I'm sorry I'm getting mixed up. My brain failing. I thought we were enabling owner CFw boot.Sorry i dont Unterstand?
Current i use dual Boot and my autoRCM is disable.
I use the 0 folder method and its Fine for me.
i test it right now !OK... If someone wants to try this...
https://github.com/mattytrog/Basic-Modchip-UF2/blob/master/UF2/Trinket_Rebug.UF2?raw=true
This is my new "basic UF2" for people who want no pissing around.
Other boards updated tomorrow pending feedback. Trinket & Rebug only at the minute. Source on my git.
With this UF2:
- Your Trinket / Rebug will look for "payload.bin" OR "start.bin" in SD root and launch automagically.
- 0 folder not needed
- nx files not needed
- No folders will be made
- If "payload.bin" or "start.bin" is not found, Hekate 4.5 will launch.
- This is meant for people who don`t want to be pissing around with folders / nx files / etc etc
Drag and flash works perfectly with the UF2 files from the official R4S site.
About software interfering with flashing, I am running on Linux, but that shouldn't be interfering with anything. Specially considering I can flash the official files without a problem.
But for the sake of thoroughness, I am going to do a cold boot into a kernel with virtualization opts off and try again.

Sorry for the double-post, but the result from the cold boot is the same. Drag, flash, blinking red led.
Ok. What exactly is happening when you drop the UF2 on switchboot?@mattytrog i have tried now many files.
only this file: https://github.com/mattytrog/Ninten...g_Pack/TRINKET_REBUG_CHAINLOADER_0_FOLDER.UF2
and this file: https://github.com/mattytrog/Ninten...g_Pack/trinket_rebug_0_folder_chainloader.UF2
works on my switch perfect.
is it possible to make on the base of one of these UF2 file a a new UF2 file with these features
- This is meant for people who don`t want to be pissing around with folders / nx files / etc etc
when i drop this file
https://github.com/mattytrog/Basic-Modchip-UF2/blob/master/UF2/Trinket_Rebug.UF2?raw=true
on my switch do my switch only booting in OFW.
i hold power button and volume (+) and boot in OFW and NOT in CFW
Are you doing this?
1) start your switch normally into OFW
2) double press reset to get into bootloader mode
3) Flash this first... https://github.com/mattytrog/Ninten..._Pack/Version_1_trinket_rebug_joycon_only.uf2
4) power off your switch
5) power on again into OFW
6) flash this... https://github.com/mattytrog/Basic-Modchip-UF2/blob/master/UF2/Trinket_Rebug.UF2?raw=true
7) power off and attempt to boot into CFW
8) follow these steps to the letter. Let me know.
I'm thinking your chip is fitted the old method 3 way. Just as a quick test, try this UF2...have follow all steps and when i boot into cfw my start.bin in the root of the SD is not loading / hektate is not coming up
i hold power and Volume(+) and switch boot into OFW
