I have been doing repairs on faulty switch and it now has no back light. It was working but after some trace repairs for sd card reader it is no longer working. I tried cleaning the connector and adding solder to the pins on the flex cable as I had seen others do. But that didn’t work. I suspect the connector maybe got some debris inside it so I am going to replace it. But just checking the pins on the board I am getting some voltages that don’t align with what I have seen others reporting. Working from the ground side I am getting 0.001v 3.68v 0.001v. I have yet to find proper documentation on what they should be but I did see someone on a forum mentioning voltages higher than that. I have checked the caps near the backlight ic for shorts but they are all good. What next? Please help me.

I was actually just testing in diode mode and the circled one came up OL on multimeter. Does that suggest a new chip needed?
