I have a CFW 2DS on 11.3 and each time I've tried to dump the Extra Data for Pokemon Moon it creates a folder with nothing inside. Through trial and error I've successfully dumped the Extra Data months ago when I had access to just the Homebrew Launcher. The way I managed to do it was from finding a thread on this site about an unofficial build for JKSM that was released in 2017 IIRC. Thing is, I can't find it now.

Got my retail game working on Citra with the regular save data too, just need to figure out how to grab the ExtData. I would greatly appreciate any help, thanks.

Im not sure if this is how people do it, and frankly it's stupid, but try this application: https://github.com/MrCheeze/extdata_dump. It's a tool that dumps all of your extdata for everything. Try finding the title id of pokemon moon in your extdata. I did this to restore a mhgen save back when paslr was a thing.

Not sure what to do with the files that you directed me too, most end in an unfamiliar extension. (Second image is the contents of the source folder.

Edit: Dead link. I really need to start checking if the link is dead or not. :P

@TheDarkOne, is this the version you were talking about?

Yes, I think that might be it. Although since then I found a link to an already setup version of extdata_dump which worked, my battle videos are showing up but while running Citra but the game says it needs an update to play the videos. I think I should've just updated Pokemon Moon, but I thought it was a new update that came packaged with 11.4 so I didn't.

Edit: Got everything working now, thanks for the help guys!
