Hacking Adrenaline v4 Released!

Ah,i was doing it completely wrong then. I did have a similar issue when playing Tomba 2. There's this minecart racing minigame which was completely impossible. No matter how much i tried i couldn't get close to beating it. Chalked it up at the time to being because of my skills but maybe its cause of a timing issue. Rest of the game was fine though, worked far better than it ever did on psp.

I did try bust a move 2 US again in practice mode and i think it has the same issue. still not 100% sure its not me though

Best way to test for issues is to try different versions of adrenaline, as well as official psn games from ps1 converted ones. To be honest i always had the idea that the reason why some games aren't playable on psp or made for ps1 classic in the first place was the game couldn't handle it. Playstation made a general purpose emulator unlike nintendo and is virtual console which gets updated to support the required games in the first place. Some games just may not handle it properly, which could explain why some games don't exist on psn in the first place.


Is just a speculation i had so perhaps is something to do with it. Incompatibility issues are natural perhaps.

Well, that's why Popsloader exists on the PSP - different versions of the emulator supporting different games.

The lack of many games appearing on PSN is usually due to either licencing (e.g. the WipEout games), the original publisher either not existing anymore (Alien Trilogy, Rollcage, Loaded) or not caring (Future Cop LAPD).

i converted dino crisis with popstationgui and he's work, after freeze in first screen, i reboot vita and since that moment nobody games work!

i try reinstalla adrenaline but nothing, help please even the plugin does not work

Don't expect every single game to work, is basic knowledge for UNOFFICIAL supported content.

Hmmm is it just me or are ps1 games running with bad framerate? Currently playing Megaman X4 and the framerate is horrible.

Yeah it's a known issue (though not sure if TheFloW knows). It seems we should go back to using 3.1

adrenaline v4 is incompatible with popsloader, i returned with 3.10 and popsloader show again when i press R trigger at boot game ps1

Popsloader does not work with Adrenaline in all versions (period). It's even confirmed by the dev himself and won't be supported in the future.

Because V4 introduced this issue. Go back to V3.1 until it's fixed.

Flow is on B-R-E-A-K, so a few days may be more than you think. When is addressed to him and he decide to fix it, he may or may not. Perhaps even wait longer for release to prepare for much bigger update.

So can i ask anyone here if they actually tried a OFFICIAL PLAYSTATION STORE BOUGHT GAME on adrenaline and NOT A UNOFFICIALLY CONVERTED GAME?

i have resident evil 2, resident evil 3, dino crisis 1, dino crisis 2, neo geo double dragon, klonoa door to phantomile, pocket fighter, tekken 2, and gex enter the gecko PSN bought versions of the games. All run through adrenaline for me. Must be something different about the official releases for the games.

this is great i commend Flow for his greatness, but I think i'll just skip a few updates.
I just hate having to reinstall my Vita theme collection everytime the DB data file gets refreshed installing a new adrenaline

Just checked, It is adrenaline v4 that i am using. cwcheat also works for official psn ps1 games.

So you been using adrenaline v4 with official psn games with no issues that people complain about above, just to clarify. So then if that is the case then only UNOFFICIAL MADE PSX CONVERTED GAMES are to blame, not adrenaline or flow.

Umm you don't need any database refreshing or mess with theme, just replace 3 files inside the adrenaline folder in the memory card with the ones from the new released zip file.

It can't get more simple than that. Nothing else is required nor messed with to update adrenaline. They are simply plugins for henkaku/taihen. Works as soon as the files are replaced.

Just checked again to make sure. The freezing issue someone had with dino crisis i don't have with the psn release.

Thats b/c I usually use the VPK adrenaline updates which messes with DB file
