If you're on the fence, grab it now.

Just bought mine.

(I am not affiliated with DealExtreme in any way, just doing this as an FYI to those of you thinking about getting an AK2)

EDIT: now completely sold out.

Getting mine from shop.01media.com anyway

Wow, 1 Euro = 1.5925 U.S. dollars, so their price of 37.95 Euro is equivalent to $60.34 U.S.! That's almost twice as expensive as DealExtreme.

Even leetmod.com has pretty good AK2 prices.

It's actually a lot cheaper here, it just feels expensive to you because you use dollars.

Well, everything is expensive in Sweden, so 40€/60$ may not make much of an impression on your eyes, but you could still have bought it for 20€ at DX. And wherever you live, 20€ is always almost half than 37.95!

Exactly my point.

Use your stronger currency to your advantage and buy for half the price on DX!

Ah well. It is nice to get your items quickly, too. I understand that aspect. I'm patient and can handle waiting 2-4 weeks for my package from DealExtreme. I picked up a set of NDS and GameCube/Wii screwdrivers, too. In case I ever decide to tinker and/or mod my systems.

As long as people are willing to pay silly prices, they will keep on charging silly prices...

I usually get my ordered stuff one day after...
And that's a big plus. Of course paying more for a better service is a reasonable option. It's just that with small electronics I like to seek for the absolute cheapest source. It's kind of a game.

Anyway, the card is back in stock at DX... and it costs 4$ less.

Oh well... I will survive!
