I tried this trick with Tales and when I tried to save it said something about LBA being in a certain position and I couldn't force it? ANyone know if using a cso was wrong? or anyway to fix.
I tried to uncompress it and it still didn't work.

A CSO would rearrange the LBAs. You need to save the LBAs from a clean ISO, and apply them again before saving. CSO may not be possible on certain games. If you no longer have the Clean ISO, redump the UMD.

Bit of a question about this, does this let people put up patched .iso's or are does everyone have to do this themselves?
No roms. What part of that rule do you not understand? Don't post them, don't ask for them, don't ask for sites where you can get them. If you even have to ask, don't do it.

I think you need to learn a bit of reading comprehension. I've been around long enough to know the rules, this isn't at all what I asked.
All I asked is if when patched the iso's can be used on different psp's or does patching them mean it only works on the psp that patched it.

Nope, i dont think so. Only ISO's and actual Games themself are illegal to ask for, Patches and Updates and stuff like that arent

SO does anyone want to upload the textfile or send it to me for Tales of Vs?

Well, I got Persona [US] to work on my 5.50GEN-B PSP 1000

I needed to add an extra step in the rebuild of the ISO

Load the Clean ISO. Go to File>File List>Export

Save it as Filelist.txt

Replace the EBOOT.BIN

Go to File>File List>Import

Choose Filelist.txt

Select YES to forcing LBAs, then Save.

Game should run fine

I believe the issue is all the LBAs get reset when you drag the new EBOOT in which gives a black screen. May want to redo all the games we've reported as failed.

Sorry to sound dumb but can someone please explain "Load Clean ISO"?
Load it on what the psp or pc?
Please help me.

Cheers

Persona confirmed working with the textfile trick. 5.50 GEN-B2, no UMD, no fakeregion, no version.txt, but only with Sony NP9660 driver. With the M33 one I just got the intro sequence, and then just a black screen.
