It wouldn't at all, the PSP can barely handle easier to emulate games like super Mario 64. However, due to the 3DS' dedicated GPU, you might have a bit more luck. I wouldn't wish such a undertaking on anyone to program it. I wonder if Rydian could enlighten us with his knowledge XD

I wont comment anymore

But.... Will it Blend? (This is a joke btw)

So anyways, I wonder how I could replicate/ search for the exploit myself. I wish I had a guy like neimod to take me in as a apprentice XD Would be so much fun. Already starting to make plans on dumping my NAND of my 3DS (yes, I know they're encrypted and practically useless) to gain some experience...

That's why we need separate threads for "hot" arguments. If they turn to crap, I can just close/delete the thread and that's it.
I like that idea.

How would you dump the NAND?

It takes a bit of involvement. You need to know where the pins are on the the board to physically and you have design your device to attach to the pins. Here's a good idea on how one person approached a different NAND. http://spritesmods.com/?f=had&art=ftdinand
And what does this achieve
Does it let you put some special files onto your computer for editing and stuff?

I've already said that it would currently be useless. I would only want it for later and it would be a excellent learning experience. One has to start somewhere when it comes to real "hacking". I don't feel like leaching off people like neimod or yellow8, I want to work with them XD

I dont think Grezzo used an emulator to make Ocarina operationnal on the 3DS.

They re-coded all the game.

Clues : It runs at 60fps, so the music needs to sync at the same speed.

3D Shapes have been re modded + textures are new

If it was a Rom on an Emulator, how the game would take in charge the 3D + the movements

No it's defo not a N64 rom re-coded. They probably used some bit of codes of the original game but defo not the orginal game itself

Correct that for you. It is in no way 60 fps, that would be way too fast.

I'm pretty sure the most old us to stop talking about this, but as a quick note, I'm pretty sure it does. Too bad we don't really have a way to measure it. (it may display 30 FPS, but it's rendering 60 due to the 3D, pretty sure)

The folders he's showing have nothing to do with the files at the SD card. He downloaded the E-Shop Titles of the games and he pasted the "We hacked it" in the loading screen with a video editing software.

its especially obvious because he doesnt show the empty slot and then turn the system on in one continuous shot.

they bought their own game on a key site and checked where they came from and it turned out they were review copies he had given out by email to someone

    *all* of them
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no storefront I'm aware of (at least on pc) requires the devs to pay for the keys they generate
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
they don't lose money doing this, even if someone decide to chargeback
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
so that seems to be a pretty common thing, i kinda blame the dev for that one though as they were giving out like 5 keys to someone just because they asked for multiple copies for review for whatever reason and there were multiple people doing this. he should've seen the red flags
