Hardware 300+ Wii U Menu Icons on Two Separate Drives

Hi there

I just noticed that I currently have 283 icons on my Wii U menu, and that the limit is 300.

Most of my apps and games are located in a SSD, and I plan to buy another one to download more games on it.

Since technically, I wouldn't have more than 300 games showing at the same time, would this method work ? If it doesn't, it's not that big of an issue ; I just want to make sure before I buy anything.

that's a good question. I don't know, but the meta is only there for the drive plugged in. if you plug in a separate drive, the meta goes away, and the first drive will no longer be sorted. I think it's in the BaristaIconCache.dat where this information is stored.
