Gaming 3 free VC games for xmas?

Hi!

There's a rumor saying that we could get some free VC as a gift for xmas (maybe by the end of the year) from Nintendo. No official news yet, but some screenshot:







So the games would be:

- Toe Jam & Earl (Genesis)
- Super Mario Bros (Nes)
- R-Type (TurboGrafx)

What do you guys think about that?

That would be pretty decent. And I don't see the prospect being TOO ridiculous. I mean, they're year old games that are a mere few hundred/thousand KB each.

And I did wonder why Super Mario Bros. wasn't in the VC yet...

I found a blog post where someone poked around with assorted Wii Shop links by typing in the game ID. The games that are going to be released are marked with place holders for "free" games. These games will be out, but not free.

Too bad :-/.

They could really give us something, all those games are realy old and doesn't cost anything. Even Sony sells their PS1 games on the Playstation Store cheaper.

Remember those old Super Mario Bros cartridges that was really SMB AND Duckhunt? They should do that with the SMB VC game...

Two new games for the price of one...those were the days...

The neckbeard at EB games told me duck hunt will be ported in Wiiplay.

And they still have two games in one. If you don't mind gba cartoon network scheiss. Just sayin
