I've never connect my Wii to my Wi-Fi because it always showed me 101031 error, today almost three years later I've ran a Pimp My Wii search for errors and in the report I could see what is almost for sure the real problem behind my connectivity issues, some years ago I suffered a semi-brick, I ran a Wanin's tool to delete the extra channels and restore my acces to configuration screen, but in this report there are two EULA files HAKP and HAKE, which are from EULA PAL and EULA USA respectively, I think that uninstalling the european ones (my Wii is an american one) I could solve that studid issue.

There are also two titles HALP and HALE, which I also found to be rgnsel (region select) So I think I should uninstall them too.

What do you think about that?

Thanks in advance

My report is this

Remod your Wii with Modmii by XFlak, and STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM "brick my Wii"!
Standard answer whenever Pimp My Wii is mentioned.

Personally I always use Modmii and I'm a huge fan of Xflak, but I occasionally used Pimp My Wii in the past and never had problems.
And by the way, the standard answer doesn't really solve the OP problem, however using http://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/ might definitely help.

If he remods like I said, it's fixed garanteed. No need for abundant details.
FYI the OP allready posted a syscheck, wich is HORRIBLE.
Fix is what counts here, the OP wants easy and he gets easy and safe.
It's for reason pimp my Wii has a bad name around here.

It uses unsafe online file grabbing without real control of user.
It hides info and misinforms users.
I causes trouble because poeple have no idea what they are altering on their Wii, blindly following PMW. When things fail, they come here. That means BAD support in my book. I hate PMW for that.

Sorry, I meant using system check with modmii ( by selecting SU in the main menu to update the mod ), not just posting it.
We're on the same page here.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
