I suppose you're right about how this cartridge works, but reinserting the same battery didn't solve the problem. Putting in a new one did, though. Nothing damaged, I guess. Thanks for the info.- apass0s

Hardware EZ Flash Jr will not load a game with START "shortcut"
I was using an EZ Flash Jr with absolutely no issues on a screen modded GBC, an unmodded GBC and an unmodded DMG. Then I modded a second DMG with a backlight and bivert mod (don't know if that might have caused the issue I'm about to describe, somehow, with a bad install or a bad solder job -...- apass0s

EZ-Flash Jr stopped working - stuck at OSINIT (did not do any upgrades)
I have a modded Gameboy Color (IPS screen). It was working fine with EZ-Flash Jr. But then just now I was getting low power issues (flickering screen) and I think I must have reset it while it was still in the initial loading screen, booting the OS. I haven't played my Switch n a month or so, just been playing Xbox, and just picked to play lil and Damn that A and B, X and Y being reversed always gets me. -

I agree Tears is great. I even played thru it completely twice. I've been hooked on playing thru Fallout 4 again though, after they released the next gen version for Series S/X. Is pretty cool update.

because I already got burned out with breath of the wild, which for the most part is essentially the same game, and then again with master mode, which doesn't work as a new game plus (that always felt bizarre to me)
