    Strange DLC problem...

I'd first like to apologize for the double post, as well as for bumping this topic, but I need to let you all know what I've been doing lately concerning these DLCs that I'm still having trouble with (same game: Toaru Majutsu no Virtual-On [CUSA08425]). I've been doing some searching through...

    Strange DLC problem...

That's actually one of the things I already did try, and I still got the same results.

    Strange DLC problem...

@Randqalan @Dyhr Okay, well, it looks as though I've inadvertently started a huge debate about DLCs here, and for that, I apologize. Anyway, another idea I tried was to try to compile the DLCs using modded assets from the PS Vita version's DLCs (which I actually do have and do work) with...

    Strange DLC problem...

@godreborn ...Dangit. Did you get my message a couple of days ago about my opening the addcont.db file in the DB browser for SQLite? The closest thing I saw to an "enable cell" is the "status" column inside the "Browse data" tab. Where do I go from there?

    Strange DLC problem...

All 8 of the DLCs for the game were compiled with the "psDLC" tool. Somehow I don't really think Jailbreaks disable DLCs because I'm still able to play DLC #1 on the game's list just fine (Content ID: JP0177-CUSA08425_00-DLCXSMPXXXXXX000), which I'm 99.99% sure is an unlockable story DLC.

    Strange DLC problem...

What do you mean? I thought GoldHen was the only way to jailbreak a PS4.

    Strange DLC problem...

Ok, I've looked at the addcont.db file in the DB browser for sqlite. The closest thing I can see to an "enable cell" is the "status" column inside the "Browse data" tab. Where do I go from here?

    Strange DLC problem...

OK, I navigated to system_data/priv/mms/, transferred the addcont.db file to my pc via ftp and looked at it though a hex editor. All 8 of the game's DLCs are in there. And they all say v1.00. But what did you mean when you said there might be a "cell for unlocked"? The base game itself is v1.01...

    Strange DLC problem...

Is there anyone else anywhere who can help me with this problem I'm having? I already tried Psxhax, but for some strange reason, they moved my post from the "PS4 Help" sub-forum and added it to an already existing post of mine in the "PS4 Fake Packages" sub-forum.

    Strange DLC problem...

I tried GoldHen 2.1.2 at your suggestion a short while ago. Got the exact same results again. I'm running out of ideas here.

    Strange DLC problem...

I've double-triple-quadruple-checked everything. Title ID, Content ID, you name it, I've checked it. @godreborn I can confirm with 100% certainty that they are all fpkgs. I used Leecherman's PKG viewer tool to confirm that.

    Strange DLC problem...

I just tried switching the system language just now and it still didn't work.

    Strange DLC problem...

I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out what's wrong with the DLCs I have for Toaru Majutsu no Virtual-On (CUSA08425) for almost a year now. For some bizarre reason, whenever I try to install any one of the DLCs for the game, it's always detected by the game as the first one on the...

A few questions about PS4 DLCs...

Hi, everyone! I've got a few questions regarding PS4 game DLCs. I've searched just about everywhere on the internet, but I haven't found any straight answers. My questions are: 1. Can PS4 DLCs be used by "Guest" users on a PS4 Console? 2. Does a PS4 console have to be "activated" before DLCs...

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.
