Hacking UDPIH: USB Host Stack exploit + Recovery Menu

No that'd be bad and would probably kill the SD card. Maybe you've got your schematic mirrored? If I remember correctly it's Pin3 to GND and 4 to Vcc. Be careful 👍

Nice to see! Any idea what causing the loading times? I guess I wouldn't matter if loaded from USB or NAND.

By the way, do you how the aroma port is coming along? Would be nice to finally be able to say goodbye to Tiramisu.

Hardware PD4Wii, PD4WiiU - A DIY USB-C replacement for the Wii and Wii U power adapter

I actually have made the bypass mod to the back ports as it wouldn't charge all devices correctly before. I'm thinking of doing it for the front USBs as well so that module seem to let it draw pass 3a @15v, I should actually confirm this with an wall power meter. The PDC004 would be perfect for...

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

Hi Ploggy, I didn't look too deep into it, but I got stuck trying to understand if we had any kind implementation of the libogc already in the WiiU "branch" or not. That's where I got lost unfortunately. I haven't heard back from Wiimpathy either. One can only hope someone more knowledgeable...

Hardware PD4Wii, PD4WiiU - A DIY USB-C replacement for the Wii and Wii U power adapter

I made a dongle the other day and it seems to be able to charge 2x wiimotes and 1x gamepad while running Zelda BOTW. I used this decoy module (which can change voltages with a solder bridge) and a WiiU power plug . A 3d-printed little face plate and I'd look decent.

    Homebrew Retroarch : Lightgun support

Hi @Wiimpathy ! I know it's been a while since you made these contributions to the wii port of RA, but I wonder if you know how much work I'd take to also have these changes made for the Wii U port? Damn good work, it only makes sense WiiMotes should work as pointing devices in RA :) I've made...

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

I found my old instructions and I seem to have linked myself a snes9x core now using these steps (from your docker): Build a core within a [core name]/libretro/ such as snes9x: make platform="wiiu" Rename the libretro_snes9x2010_wiiu.a -> libretro_wiiu.a and place it in the root of Retroarch...

That is great! I might have some spare time on my hands this week, I'll try to have a look. Right now I'm trying to set up that docker container you provided (much obliged!), although I'm running into some problems

Hardware PD4Wii, PD4WiiU - A DIY USB-C replacement for the Wii and Wii U power adapter

@EnterpriseFreak nice job! I wonder if a clip-together design would be able to shrink the footprint even more? Another plus is that you wouldn't need screws.

Hi @ploggy! I'd love to hear your opinion on how plausible do you think this feature would be? I'm not sure if there are limitations in how the wiimotes are read i Wii U mode.

Hardware PD4Wii, PD4WiiU - A DIY USB-C replacement for the Wii and Wii U power adapter

I'd love to see such guide! If you don't mind, what would be the general aproach for achieving this? I don't mind tinkering and micro soldering. I'm the kind of person who bypass the 500mA limit of the USB in order to charge gamepads, multiple WiiMotes and running a harddrive.

Hardware Tutorial Using NAND-AID to repair a broken eMMC (fix 160-0103 system memory error)

I tried to set it to hdmi and it'd just revert back to component. I did a nudge test on the hdmi pins and some of them were loose, reflowed them and voilà! This was truly a "from trash to treasure" moment for this system guys.

Hacking UDPIH: USB Host Stack exploit + Recovery Menu

@SDIO OK so I installed a DIY mlc SD-adapter and flashed my dump to a 32GB card. The mlc_checker.txt seems to have A LOT of corrupted titles in vol/storage_mlc01/sys/title/ (if that's what the log is saying?) According to the 160-0103 error guide I can use wup installer in @V10lator's...

Hardware PD4Wii, PD4WiiU - A DIY USB-C replacement for the Wii and Wii U power adapter

This is a nice mod considering how bulky the 75w Wii U ac-adapter is! I'd love to explore this subject some more, but one thing that bugs me is the 3 amp limit of PD protocol for any voltage under 20v. That would mean that we're limited to 45W (15v @3A) using these decoys? I'd love to see a...

Hacking UDPIH: USB Host Stack exploit + Recovery Menu

@noizer I don't know if your Gamepad unpaired for some reason, but you might be able to pair it up again using this recovery_menu mod which dumps the pairing pin to your SD card (then read it on your PC and now that you know the pin you can redo the menu process again and pair it up). In order...
