Hacking New3in1 works with EZ V menu but not homebrew

Ah, okay. I figured that the EZ V loader only touched the 3-in-1's SRAM when I flashed a GBA game to NOR or PSRAM. Sure, I know. I was only using HB that specifically supported the 3-in-1, like the SRAM tester. Anyway, thanks, and I'll stick to the EZ V's GBA loader.

Hacking New3in1 works with EZ V menu but not homebrew

I'm having an unusual problem: My EZ V (running the latest menu) can see the SRAM on my 3in1 (second rev, New3in1) but nothing else can. ExpLoader always asks to initialize it and dumps it as all 0s for all 512KB when I select the option to dump the entire SRAM, SRAM test fails on writing the...

Hacking Ticket mechanics/backup and restore/WUP installer question

I believe the SM3DW bundle included preloads rather than eShop codes. Not certain. auto It sounds like this means that the only way to get a 5.3.2 console with permanently available DLC and other eShop content is to already have it registered in your name. It also sounds like that's unlikely...

Hacking Ticket mechanics/backup and restore/WUP installer question

As I understand it, a Wii U ticket is a bit of DRM/crypto-related data to authorize Game X to run on Console A. It's per-console, tied to some unique ID (serial number or equivalent) so sharing tickets from one console to another would be useless. So, two questions: Will current/near-future...

Hacking What version software do Wii U's ship on?

My Mario Maker bundle arrived with 5.4.0. Too new for the upcoming exploits, too old to actually get on eShop and download Mario Maker.

Hacking NSMB requesting update even though I'm on 4.2

Once I held Reset, I was able to load and configure Priiloader, block updates, and start playing. Thanks to everybody who helped out.

Hacking NSMB requesting update even though I'm on 4.2

Agh, I'm an idiot; it's been so long since I installed it that I'd forgotten it didn't come up automatically by default. Thank you!

Hacking NSMB requesting update even though I'm on 4.2

Still the same problem as I mentioned in my initial post: The Priiloader screen never comes up. I just get a bit of a flicker before the health/safety message displays.

Hacking NSMB requesting update even though I'm on 4.2

Priiloader isn't working, even after an uninstall/reinstall...that's one of the things I'm trying to troubleshoot.

Hacking NSMB requesting update even though I'm on 4.2

Just installed that as well (3.6, Wiigen installer) and no change. I generated a Dop-IOS MOD report: IOS Version, FakeSign, ES_Identify, NAND, Flash, USB 2.0 "250 (r65535)", Enabled, Enabled, Enabled, Enabled, Enabled "249 (r10)", Enabled, Enabled, Enabled, Enabled, Enabled "70 (r6174)"...

Hacking NSMB requesting update even though I'm on 4.2

I did a hand-update to 4.2U recently, using .WADs, but my original (i.e. non-backup) NSMB Wii game is still requesting an update. I tried installing Priiloader to block updates; Preloader worked when I was on 3.2, but now the Priiloader screen never comes up. I just get a bit of a flicker...

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

@BigOnYa, Then i think people were talking about fallout 76
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    that one was buggy too
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
