Thanks bootmaster. I've no intention of upgrading to CBHC, so HBL it is. Thanks! auto thanks marduk but I'm too heavily invested in the wii u library, and my kids would disown me if the worst did happen. HBL is fine for my needs!

Help needed here guys, apologies for the repost, but I think my original post got a bit lost. I'm still struggling to install the retroarch channel from the OP. I'm trying to install the Retroarch channel to nand, using WUP installer GX2, but it keeps failing with the message "Verify WUP filers...

Hi guys, I'm trying to install the Retroarch channel to nand, using WUP installer GX2, but it keeps failing with the message "Verify WUP filers are correct & complete. DLC/eshop require Sig Patch" Have I missed a step somewhere along the way? Haxchi and HBL are working fine, and I'm sure I...

Looks like the uppercase SD was causing the issue, the files will now all load. I'm not sure why playlist buddy did not create the link to the DB entry, this maybe why the thumbnails are corrupted too. I might be better off generating my lists manually. Thanks again for your help.

Thanks so much for the advice, not sure how I ended up with that second DETECT - maybe I missed a section with playlist buddy. I will try again with your recommended changes.

Hi guys, can anyone tell me if the latest stable build has support for shaders / overlays or video filters. I'm trying to recreate the CRT experience rather than pixel smoothing.

OK will do. Should I expect the 9/28 build to fix the crash I'm getting on the 9/27 build?

I'm getting the same results as randomizer the nightly build from 27/09 will cause the console to lock up when trying to load the main retroarch.rpx, individual cores have been fine so far, this was on a fresh install. Shame, as I wanted to get stuck into playlists and assets tonight!

Thanks guys, I think my mistake was to use the HB App Store rather than just install Retroarch directly. I will clean up my SD card tonight and try a fresh install with the latest build. Do I want the rpx version or the other?

Hi Guys, I've used HBAS to load Retroarch 1.5.0 onto my WiiU. I can't seem to load Retroarch from HBC but I can open and run individual cores which work fine. I'm keen to get stuck into using playlists / collections to make navigating my content easier, but I'm not really sure where to start. I...

Homebrew Official [release] Homebrew App Store (for WiiU)

Hi guys, I've used HBAS to install and update Retroarch Emus/Core, which have worked fine. HBAS also has an app listing for just 'Retroarch' which I assumed to be the latest version from which you can load cores / content without selecting the emu first. It has installed version 1.5.0...

Blessed are the developers who have made RA on the Wii U a possibility, you are doing the lords work. Thank you. Has anyone managed to get a 4 player game working in snes 9x? I have Gamepad and a ProController working fine for 2 player games, but when I connect a couple of classic controllers...

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
