    I guess that would be a possibility... Would doing a new friendcodeseed, then formatting, then restoring the NAND be an effective way around it? (Doing all that with the Wi-Fi disabled, of course) Also, I don't recall it being mentioned, does this ban affect System Updates?

    This is a little confusing... Turning off the wi-fi is the one way to stop Nintendo from collecting the data that they MAY be using to ban people, but they can collect data even if it is turned off, but the one way to stay safe is to turn it off???
