I actually figured out how to do this. And it works for any DirectInput controllers. It's called XOutput. Basically it takes DirectInput and spoofs it to be XInput. Plus, it's easier to use than something like x360ce. I'll leave a link if anybody wants it, but a quick Google search should get...
So I want to translate Rockman Complete Works, but I need to know what programs I could use to hack the game. I have the game image in a bin/cue format, but I have no prior coding knowledge. I'm willing to learn through experimentation, but I'd like to know of any programs that could help to...
Sorry for the late reply, I've been a bit busy, but thanks Petrucci for the tutorial. And unfortunately, I only have a PC, so no Mac. But thanks anyway, Scarlet.
So I just got a computer that can handle Dolphin like a dream and it made me get to thinking of the possibilities of Gamecube game hacking and modding. I was wondering if there were any tools made for Pokémon Colosseum or XD specifically. I did a quick Google search and didn't find anything. I'm...
THE ISSUE IS FIXED
So I tried to randomize my Alpha Sapphire, but for some reason after compiling the .CIA file and installing it, I load the game and get to the starters, and they are the normal Gen 3 starters. I have no idea what went wrong between compiling the .CIA and installing/loading...
I want to use the Fire Emblem Fates Fan Translation, but for some reason, I can't generate the xorpads for my .3ds file. Those are needed for the patcher, and I can't find any alternative. I really need help with this because I seem to be the only one with this issue.
I suppose to try and explain a bit better, the ncchinfo.bin that gets generated with my .3ds file only contains parameters for creation of 2 of the 4 xorpad files. Mind you, I ripped the .3ds file DIRECTLY from my own game cart using Decrypt9WIP, then used 3DS Simple CIA Converter to obtain the...
I'm trying to get the Fire Emblem Fates Fan Translation Patch up and running. I need 4 xorpads, the ones that have "Main.exheader", "Main.romfs", "Main.exefs_norm", and "Main.exefs_7x" in their names I have "Main.exheader" and "Main.exefs_norm" generating properly, but the other two won't...
I've looked all over for my specific problem, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I want to use the FE: Fates fan translation, but the patcher needs XORpads. That would be fine if when I used my dump with the 3DS Simple CIA Converter, it didn't give me only 2 of the 4 XORpads I need. I'm missing...
I have a Wii with the GC ports, but I haven't used it in ages. Not to mention, I like to have everything usable on one machine if possible. Plus, it hasn't just been Wii homebrew, it's been Wii U homebrew as well.
I want to play some Wii games using my Gamecube Controller, but it seems like there's been no interest in adding support to USB Loader GX or in vWii period (not counting Nintendont).
Awesome! Can't wait for the release!
Also, there's another thread of mine that I was told I should bring to your attention: http://gbatemp.net/threads/any-way-to-use-a-usb-controller-instead-of-a-pro-controller-not-gamepad.437073/
I want to use my PS3 controller while using Gecko codes on Hyrule Warriors, but it seems like I can only use one or the other. Mind you this is on-disc.
The thing is, HW doesn't take the Classic Controller. If it did, I'd have no problem. The only controllers it takes are Wiimote & Nunchuck, Gamepad, and Pro Controller (NOT CLASSIC CONTROLLER PRO). So right now it seems like I'm up the creek without a paddle.
I want to play Hyrule Warriors multiplayer, but I don't have the spare money to get a WUPC, and the Wiimote controls are awful. Is there any way to use a USB controller as a second controller?
I feel like school, back when I was actually in school, was more entertaining though, because of how much I get to interact with people, hang out with friends, and other stuff like that. All I get to talk to at work is my boring coworkers lol
