I kno rite, when I woke up, I was nekkid and had to use some sort of tablet device to find my way around a lost kingdom - turns out it was just the start of a new job hah (full disclosure: I registered this account when gmail was still "@googlemail.com", and I only just recently overcome my DUH...

ROM Hack Cheat Codes AMS and Sx Os, Add and Request

You can roll back to an earlier version where the cheats are confirmed to work for 1.0.0 - it's probably not ideal though, depending on how far into the game you are, but it should allow you to make some progress elsewhere. Chaosta linked the older version here:

ROM Hack Cheat Codes AMS and Sx Os, Add and Request

Yeah, the memory addresses that the cheat codes rely on tend to change with new versions, so there's more work to find the hooks again. In the absence of changelog info for the 1.1.0 update, it's probably best to stick with the base game and the cheats you've been using so far for now. I'd...

ROM Hack Cheat Codes AMS and Sx Os, Add and Request

Recent requests do seem to muddy things towards that a bit, it would be helpful if people could clarify the details of the game they are requesting for - It'll save a bit of frustration in the long run. It's also worth bearing in mind that right now, we are rather privileged to have the game...

ROM Hack Cheat Codes AMS and Sx Os, Add and Request

I don't think this is really cheat dev-related, you could try updating your Graphics Card drivers or ask the Ryujinx devs.

Hehe I must admit a big part of the reason I had been away for so long (besides work and forgetting my password) was because I didn't really have anything to contribute here, hopefully that will change soon!

ROM Hack Cheat Codes AMS and Sx Os, Add and Request

I don't have any cheat requests, but I just want to drop a random thankyou to all the code searchers and testers, who make it possible for folks like me with not a whole lot of free time to blast through the gamey parts of games between custscenes 🤣

Hacking Help ripping Wii game audio

Agh, didn't notice the .bf (bigfile archive) extension there. You could try extracting it with bigfat or bfbs from HCS's tools page (http://hcs64.com/vgm_ripping.html), otherwise I haven't a clue, sorry.

Hacking Help ripping Wii game audio

HCS64's vgmstream should play the files - just rename the extension to .sns and use the command line decoder (or something like Winamp's disk writer) to convert them to wave files.

    Hacking Region Question.

There are other, obscure codes too: H = The Netherlands R = Russia U = Australia / UK specific V = Certain Scandinavian releases W = Republic of China (Taiwan / Formosa), confusingly used in one case for a Scandinavian release X, Y, Z = These ARE real codes, used for some PAL games which...

Hacking Way to watch and convert .Sfd?

sfd2mpg is a command line tool. There is another file in the archive besides the .exe - I suggest that you study it.

Hacking Way to watch and convert .Sfd?

The only conversion tool I know of is beto's sfd2mpg: http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown/2004/dcdev/sfd2mpg02.lzh I had success using this to convert the title & ending videos for R:Racing, but I don't know how well it would work on more recent stuff. It's certainly worth a try!

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
