  • I hope you've been having a wonderful day. Sometimes, i think back to what I've said to myself during the last few weeks of my first semester that I should take a break from engaging with other people due to my fears of something major that's wrong with them or that I won't speak to them often due to the other person working or having interest in others than me.

    Nice!
I've been homeschooled pretty much all my life!

If I had a nickel for everytime I have found a wonderful person on the internet that are indie developers (edited this in because it's true) has been homeschooling, I've had two nickles but it's weird because it did happen twice.

Seriously, something makes me wonder if homeschooling is much better than actually going to school. No bullying involved except between you, your siblings, and your parents lol, and work gets done easier because of the help of your own family.

    Slated for a Newgrounds release!

    Side project!
It's an unnamed arcade-like micro-game, that allows you to play as a white circle and shoot tiny circles at an endless onslaught of bat-like things!! (with upgrades, of course.) I hope you are as excited as I am and look forward to playing it!

This is Windows 8.1, but I tried to make it look (and function) like Windows 7. You all probably know I love this OS to death, so I'm delighted with how this turned out! <(^-^)>

@DragonMals, I don’t use older OS’s but I do see the appeal. Modern Windows (and even some Linux distros,) are honestly filled with too many features either I don’t use or want. Kind of why I use Linux, because the option for stripped down or stripping down is there and easier

Win7 has such a unique design, like, they took everything good from the past versions and just made it GOOD and BEAUTIFUL

The Catboy While I'm not a power hungry user, I manage to use what I can have for the PC. Copilot, even (even if I roast it 100% of the time, It's good but the advertising is TOO MUCH) that I use to find information in conjunction with actually reading the Arcticle. I wish that I can have similar features (not exclusive to Copilot) and apps that are on Linux but I can't.

After having owned Androids for my entire life, I caved and bought a secondhand iPhone (2nd gen SE) less than a week before the release of Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop.

This walled garden better be worth it. ╰(‵□′)╯

And one small thing I've picked up on recently, look into Guided Access in the Accessibility settings if you happen to be accidentally closing touch-based games during play that might rely on swiping a bit too close to a screen edge. It's basically just a mode that locks you into an app until you triple press the lock button. I kinda wish it were the default for games lol

CeX (retailer) seems pretty cool. Though, it seems to only be in Europe for now. I wonder if there's any way to import...

CEX is not exclusive to the "UK"

CEX is enjoyed by "ALL". Everywhere :D

And some, even more than others :creep::evil::creep:

As a British person, CeX is pretty cool but it's really the only larger tech chains in the UK if you don't want to shell out a kidney as opposed to just buying online. I think they're also all across Europe - saw a few in the Netherlands a few days ago. Usually a cash exchange place is better for used tech, especially if you're looking to sell.

We waited for so long for a new Puyo Puyo game, and only Apple users can play it. Sucks to see that I'm not an apple user, even though they're going through a *lawsuit* right now.

I will note that Apple Arcade exclusivity only bars the game from releasing on other mobile platforms. It could still make it to PC/consoles if the interest were there to port it.

Someone managed to FC arguably one of the hardest charts in the whole franchise with a DS4 controller! It was years ago, but pretty cool nonetheless!
Well, I tried Linux again today. Managed to make more progress this time. (setting up Gamemaker, Steam, Discord, etc...) But Proton and Wine just couldn't run games without crashing. So, back to Windows, I guess. :/

I’ve not had crashing issues in quite some time with Linux. I feel like something was wrong with your setup.

That doesn't take away the fact there's still people on dial-up or very slow connections.
People with older hardware where browsers crawl shit down to a halt when loading multiple 10 billion pixel images.

Praying that the NTIA is semi-accurate, ~%0.4 of people in the US still use dial-up. Though, that info is from 2021 and very well could've gone down since then. But it's nice to know y'all haven't dropped support for it!

Also shows how long GBAtemp has been around!

Edit: don't forget, there's a world outside the US where people still have dialup.
Try Puyo Puyo Sun when you can! Very fun game!

Hey! February 4th will mark Wisp's 2nd anniversary! (or the idea of it, anyway..) For the occasion, I've made commemorative artwork. It's pretty bad. But it's better than last year when I did nothing :|
    Enjoy!
