You can already disable it with Luma CFW

How?

Wrong LEDs.

Either cover it up with some electrical tape or open up your 3DS and snip the cables going to the LED.

Well what leds luma 3ds disables anyway?

Id probably upgrade to another 3ds xl or new soon but atm im still using o3ds

Well what leds luma 3ds disables anyway?

Luma can disable the notification and power LEDs, the only that can flash a variety of colors (at least on the new 3DS/2DS , not sure how the old ones do it).

1. While in HOME Menu, press (L-shoulder)+(Down, d-pad) + Select to bring up Rosalina Menu
2. Go to System configuration...
3. Toggle LEDs , Press A to toggle.

Edit - actually, it appears that option turns off ALL LEDs.

Thats what did it, thanks alot! Even though it resets on sleep mode, just knowing how to turn it off before gameplay is awesome!
