Nope, that's not. The main game is still there and playable as hell, I have played PC games in both 30 and 60 fps variants and while 60 fps does look smoother, 30 fps does nothing to kill the gameplay at all.

Looks are only part of it. How it feels matters. More FPS = more responsive. The higher the framerate, the quicker your inputs are represented on-screen. To me 60 feels bad man. However, that's because I run it at around 150 with G-Sync. I'm definitely spoiled. However, the brat part doesn't fit. I earned the scratch to buy this gear. Definitely not cheap. The GPU and monitor upgrade was $900. That being said, 60 is fine. I would get used to it.

GTX 1080ti here! Running Doom at 1440p maxed out at 150+ FPS feels great! Doesn't curb my excitement for the Switch release though.

It’s nice to just kick back on the sofa and play the switch in handheld mode for a hour or so (when I can fit it in) while the wife watches tv. When you get older you can’t be so antisocial as to sit at a desk with a pc and play in a different room with your family being in another room. I have xbox’s, PlayStations, pcs etc but the switch really works for me.

that was one good point i liked about the wii u and the switch, but its the content its getting is its flaw and the reason to why the content is flawed is because nintendo are cheap cunts who only care about releasing cheap shit with a bullshit gimmick.

i dont get why the fans cant see this, i mean nintendo are known as the market leaders in hand held gaming, used to say the same for home consoles, but because they fail to innovate and keep up with the times theyre sliding down hill.

over the years other companies are doing better than nintendo and nintendo are struggling to keep in the market, now its console market is near dead theyve merged both markets into one to cut its costs and make its sales seem better, but again its a tablet that technologically cant do whats run of the mill, its a console that cant do the run of the mill.

end of the day when you buy a nintendo console you know your paying more for old tech and inferior hardware.

nintendo really are like apple, over priced old hardware, last decades technology today.

I would say it is possible with an XBX (S or X) or a nice PC.
The PS4 fan is so damn loud that I think it would annoy any other person in the same room as the PS4 (potentially besides the TV in the living room) even if it is only turned on to stream and they want to use the TV for something else.

PS: Yeah I know, weird reasons to dislike the PS4, but really, it is loud as fuck!

The issue with PS4 steaming on the vita was laggy delays on input and the fact it had no L2R2 shoulder buttons. The switch being modular is also a big selling point, sure you can pick up a tablet but you can’t pickup decent controllers that just click into place and work flawlessly.

lags would be your network as ive never had any issues remote playing from my vita, the vita acts just as good as a pc.

the off point for the vita for me is the lacking shoulder buttons and L/R3 buttons, but i mainly remote play from my laptop.

but that then goes back to my point, what incentive is there to gamers to pay more for an old port or the switch version when its inferior and costs more.

it makes no sense at all, and i am confident i am not the only one who thinks the same, its "portability" does not justify paying more, when if im that desperate to play on the "shitter" I can remote play both PS4/XBX1.

if the switch was to get multi platform games that run just as good and without features missing and didnt cost £10 more then id be happy to buy games for it, but not when theyre inferior ports with content removed and more expensive.

like ive said no one would pay more for a cheap brand of bread when the premium brand of bread is cheaper.

i think you can get doom now on the other platforms for around £10, but nothing as expensive as the switch version.

and tbf the game is rather turd it lacks a story, its just a basic shooter, doom 3 was (in my eyes) better.
