But OP said the 2DS fell into the water A WEEK ago, so I think all the water has dried, and if the 2DS had water inside it for a whole week, I'm pretty sure it is already corroded.
But the OP said the device was wet inside for 1 WHOLE WEEK, so I'm pretty sure that in that time, the corrosion has already "eaten" the components (chips, etc.).
Still long enough to have damaged the main board. Even a little liquid could corrode a board. But to answer your main question. No there is no way to get your saves. They are gone, unless you do a board repair or had a backup on your SD. In which case you probably wouldn't be making this thread.
Yeah, I did understand that, but at that time, I'm pretty sure that the 2DS was filled with enough water to cause irreversible damage to the device.

Actually you are wrong. It takes an extended amount of time to even begin corrosion. I know water doesn't immediately start causing damage because for testing purposes I cleaned a computer with soap and water, thoroughly rinsed and dried it and it's still working to this day. The only potential problem items are LCD and mechanical components. Corrosion wouldn't happen within the time specified. What probably killed it was having the battery in and being in water, which shorts power and fries components. Water only affects electronics when they are powered.
