Yesterday I wanted to play Skyward Sword on my Wii, I put the game and when I booted it up I got greeted with a blue screen reporting some error.

I thought it had something to do with the "Disable Game Updates" system menu hack, so I booted up Priiloader, disabled that option and run the game again.

The surprise is that Skyward Sword updated my Wii to 4.3, even though my Wii was already at 4.3 :wtf:
And now since then any of my Wii games work, they get stuck on a black screen and my wiimotes disconnect (My Wii backups do the same), but I can play perfectly Gamecube games, WiiWare channels and VC channels, and I can boot the Homebrew Channel, Priiloader and BootMii perfectly too.

I think that "Update" messed up my installed IOS, so I'm currently installing the necessary IOS(es?) with ModMii and a SysCheck file I just did, would that solve my problem?

TL;DR:

-Skyward Sword gave me a blue screen with an error

-I disabled "Disable Disc Updates" and rebooted my Wii

-Skyward Sword updated my Wii from 4.3 to 4.3 again :wtf:

-Now any Wii game works, disc or backup, but I can still play GC, VC and WiiWare (And I can still acces the Homebrew Channel, BootMii and Priiloader)

-Currently reinstalling missing/bad IOS(es?) with ModMii and a SysCheck file I just did, would that solve my problem?

EDIT: WiiShop Channel prompts me to do a system update too, I thought 4.3 was the last Wii FW?

It's probably Wii Shop Channel itself that needs an update.
As for the disc update, you were probably missing or had some outdated IOS which the update check detected.
