I don't get it, why would he go on Twitter and brag about being a jerk to a very popular company? Did he really think it would make him look cool? People can be stupid, but even that stretches the bounds of believability. I wonder if there's any reason he could have wanted his own company to go under.

EDIT: Now I've just realized how recent this tweet was. I guess he's just bitter and trying to make himself seem superior.

I started with cyanogen because everyone told me to. Didn't realize how much it sucked until I discovered pac rom, aokp, and slim. Fsck cyanogen, fsck "none plus none" and fsck Kirt Mcbastard I'll piss in his face.

Yes, yes you do. Public image is very much a thing and stuff like this can single handedly drive a business right into the ground with no way to fix it. When you, the CEO of a company, go and insult other companies for no real reason you show the world that you're not worth working with as no one wants to be associated with someone who publicly insults and belittles other people and businesses.

no not defending, just saying credit to the guy to tell a company like nintendo to basically fuck off.

if i had a software company i wouldnt want to be associated with nintendo either, id want to be associated with leading innovators not people who purposly remain in the past and try copy other peoples ideas to try pass off as been better

i get what your saying, personally i take with with a pinch of salt what he said, means nothing to me and i think consoles these days are too lazy trying to piggy back off other peoples work rather than make their own shit.

its just to make shit cheaper for them yet doesnt make it cheaper to the end user..... nintendo been worse for its over priced pile of shit console.

You're need to learn what piggybacking is. Partnering with someone and having them make a (relatively small) part of your product you haven't been historically good at isn't piggybacking off of their innovation. The only reason Cyanogen was as successful as it has been in the past is because it isn't Google or apple, so it can put in so much without worrying about noobs screwing up their phone or millions of other issues because only people in the top % of phone users will use a custom android OS. Also, besides maybe the switch, how does nintendo "steal" ideas? Was the 3ds stolen? The wii? The DS? The gameboy? The virtual boy? I will never buy a Microsoft console but I would never dream of treating them like that.

I dont think anythink is their own invention. Propably like apple does it. Everything was there before, just not good enough for the masses.

And about the price. I think its a double-edged sword. I imagine i am nintendos (or any other companys) boss. Sure, i have enouh money buryed in my backyard, but i worked for it.

Its economys fault. In germany, theres a guy called "Andreas Popp". Maybe you can find some native english guys with the same themes. He explains why economy kills everything in the end. ^^
