We don't block updates, and if we did the Wii Shop Channel wouldn't work.
RiiConnect24 isn't fully working on the Wii U yet, so you'll have to wait anyway.
I would have said this myself, but my PC all of a sudden decided to have startup problems.

In order to contibute to this project, what is exacly the "dump" which is needed?. I have a NAND Dump of my Wii which had channels like Nintendo Channel, Check Mii Out channel, Everybody Votes channel, etc. and I used it frequently.

But those files can be whatever console NAND (also can be a 3ds nand for example). Maybe taking notice of the size of the file could help

Yes. That would be the English Nintendo Channel.
You can use http://www.asciitohex.com/ to convert the hex folder names to the ASCII title ID if you don't want to mess with looking up the IDs. IOSes use the IOS number padded with zeros. e.g.: IOS58 would be 0000003a.

We're not focused on the Nintendo Channel right now.
And what would it be without Nintendo? The RiiConnect24 Channel? (something that I'm not interested in doing).
