Just wanted to share a picture from the trailer which shows that the gameplay video on the tablet screen was badly edited in :) I thought it was funny.
Pfff. LOL.
Only now that you spelled it I noticed that, and it is baaad.

So, just for reference.

That wasn't badly edited. When you purchase the Nintendo Switch, the girls arm comes with it. It is part of the revolutionary screen technology, and a first step into human augmentation.

Looks like it will run a customized Android OS. Companies can easily port Android games to it.
I highly doubt it, as it would be fairly easy to exploit it for root access. Its most likely a 100% proprietary (the OS itself), but the browser will likely be WebKit based or something similar. Only time will tell though *shrugs*.

It does look awesome, really good the only thing that concerns me is the price tag! Console and a detachable hand held with mad controllers that detach also..hmm I'm betting on nearly £400 - 450GBP a pop. I can't see many mums going out buying this next year for there spoilt brats even if they do have money!

The front side of the NS looks like it has 2 USB ports so I'd assume that this time around, Nintendo will include a LAN port. Really makes no sense as to why they left a LAN port off from the Wii U which was essential for online gaming.

No. No way will it ever be worth £400-450.

The retailer Base has it up for pre-order for the standard RRP placeholder price of £349.99. Am hoping that it costs a bit less or if for £349.99 then it better come packed.

Nintendo has every right to sell their revolutionary hardware for £400 / £500 or £600. Whatever price they think is reasonable.

That said, Nintendo also has every right to sink and fail miserably, if the price they decide with is anything above £300, as the market has proven.

Personally, I'm not paying anywhere close to £400 or £500, regardless of how excited I am.

Not paying more than 299€ for this shit.

PS: and I'm totally ok with not buying it otherwise.
Wii U bundles in UK are still stupidly retailing for £240-300. You'd think retailers would give the dead console a price drop before the NS takes over.

Retailers are not only badly run by the ones in charge, but they also tend to fail miserably when it comes to judging the gaming market.

Not only that, but retailers are not known for giving in and cutting their losses, since they have already purchased those units at full price. It's only when they are absolutely forced to lower the prices, that they even consider it. Hence why we see flash sales and promotions on a weekly basis nowadays, something that only happened once a year some time ago.

tbh i'm kinda sick of holding the screen in my hands
i want that shi't to be strapped onto my face
Vive is pretty damn great, but we're a long way off from a VR-ready console priced at ~$300 like Switch is likely to be. My PC/Vive setup cost ~$2000 and that's not including my main display.
