Thank you! Indeed that was the problem, one of the games had a weird file 3d cover. File size was fine, but it had a vertical line outside the drawing area, invisible in most programs....
No problem.
If you didn't create the cover yourself originally, please let us know which game and GameID6 it was so that others might check that cover first if they have the same crash. Also, if you downloaded the cover and remember where it came from, check it by redownloading it and let the creator know if it's bad.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed already, but I couldn't find anything by searching on the forums or google. Neither did I see this in the FAQ. But whenever I play games they run fine, except for a few issues. One of them is the sound fading away every now and then, but I see you already know that.

However, every game looks kind of weird on my screen. It has these purple jags all over the screen. I have an European wiiu On my wii u pad it looks normal, its only on the tv screen. See the included pictures for more detail. One of them is the wii u pad which looks normal, the other is the tv screen.

It might be my tv or wii u, but it doesnt happen outside of loadiine so i doubt it.

I really like the progress so far though, respect! I've been waiting a long time for this!

By "doesn't happen outside of loadiine", does that mean you run the exact same game off your real disc or eshop purchase after a fresh boot and it runs fine?

Can you take the WiiU to another TV to rule that out? If it's coming from the WiiU, the first thing I'd suspect is a bad rip (but that shouldn't be ALL games), or video memory corruption. Do you have any features like padcon turned on in loadiine? Are you running someone's fork of loadiine?

What (real, not spoofed) system version is your WiiU, and what exact version of loadiine (on the settings screen) are you running?

Look at that, switching Tv's solved the problem. It was a problem with my Tv afterall. Somehow NSMBU, Bayonetta and Mario Party 10 were only affected by it, which are all games that I have on Loadiine. Mario Kart 8 and Wind Waker HD (which I have bought on disc) had no problems.

My bad guys.

Forgive the n00bish question, but it's been several months since I've done anything with Loadiine. The way I was launching it before (self-hosted) was by going to the Internet Browser, which would then go straight to my server, which would run the ksploit, then it would reload the browser, which would then launch Loadiine. I can't really complain, considering all I have to do is click on the Internet Browser once and it will eventually get to Loadiine screen by itself, but I was wondering if there is an easier way to do this now. For instance, is it possible to have your Wii U boot straight into Loadiine?

Not sure this is the right thread, but right now I have a 32 gb sd card and I want to upgrade. So I'm thinking of a 128 gb Samsung Evo micro sd card. Now I was wondering; does it really matter whether I take a Samsung Evo card or a Evo + card in terms or load times for Wii U games in Loadiine? And does it matter whether you use a micro sd card or just a regular sd card in terms of loading times?
Thanks!

hi guys! sorry i'm really new and i don't exactly have time to sift through all these posts to find the answer to my question, but i've been looking on FAQs and google searches and i can't find anything. anyway, i'm trying to download a torrent of paper mario: color splash and i currently have 18 folders, each about 8.1 gb. when i see tutorials, most games are only in one folder that has code, content, and meta, but all 18 folders have these three folders in them. how do i get them to work with loadiine? i know i have to get them all in one folder that has just code, content, and meta, but i'm not sure how to go from where i am. i'm not very tech-savvy, so my apologies if i don't understand anything other than layman terms.

any help is appreciated and thank you so much for taking the time!!

Asking for help with piracy is technically against forum rules.

Run Loadiine release b80ba75

Check your dump.
You should have about 10.6 GB. The update is around 26MB

You can also try changing the region from 00000004 to 00000002 in sd:/wiiu/games/Donkey Kong Country - Tropical Freeze [ARKP01]/meta/meta.xml, but it loaded without it for me. I don't know if there are other issues beyond the world select screen, but it got at least that far.

Omg so now we can play hyrule Warriors with all the DLC for free thanks to @masqchips ?

Amazing!
That's the only DLC that I tried (already have mk8 legit so of course it's working, and can't find a source for super smash dlc.. Every link seems to be for the edited dlc within the game.. Looking for pure dump) .. So this is the only other game I'm interested in, and it the dlc doesn't seem to be working.

It's being discussed on the ISO site in the tutorial section (they have a thread for this build) so I'm not the only one

none is working. Nintendo Land works xd but that's about it.
....
is there a way i could debug the process to see where it's getting stuck? i'm wanting to understand more than just to apply.

MK8 & HW DLC works fine my end with the mod, remember you also need to unpack the www folder from the mod also you need to update your smash disc which you can only play dlc from it wont work via miimaker. I have not tried SSB because I have the original disc version but saying that I also have MK8 as well but tbh I have just not bothered. Its a shame they could not have away of being able to boot into an original disc/eshop version via loadiine instead of a back up and then use the dlc on top, now that would be rather cool! I'm surprised also know one has opened a thread about the GX2 mod yet? whether that's out of respect for the original GX2 I don't know, just surprised!

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
