Too bad their is no auto porter software, like Hamster's back in the days of the Wii.
There is, it's the same as on Wii literally so it can be transformed easily. I already made a tool to port addresses and then entire Wii codes. Just send me two RAM dumps and the code(s) to port and I might make the application happen. Of course it won't have 100% success rate.

Hi guys :)
I still use TCP Gecko and am wondering if there are any codes/cheats for "Xenoblade Chronicles X" US version. I am also wondering which stats/levels determine damage to enemies? Thoughts/help on all this appreciated :)

Yo, Maco? What exactly is an "Infinite Jab Lock"? And would it even be possible to use Master/Crazy Hand through hex editing?

Sometimes there are certain codes that would crash if poked nonstop. One example would be the cannon power up in Super Mario 3D World. Whenever I do a a ram write with the powerup, the game crashes... Putting a timer can fix that problem.
That is assuming you can use the timer feature during your code search or on finalized codes only. If both, then that would be useful in that regards. I have came across a game that did need precise code activation, Activate it too soon and crash, activate it too late, nothing happens.

There is, it's the same as on Wii literally so it can be transformed easily. I already made a tool to port addresses and then entire Wii codes. Just send me two RAM dumps and the code(s) to port and I might make the application happen. Of course it won't have 100% success rate.
Well, actually I just manually ported most if not all of my MK8 codes, it would be nice having an app to speed up the process, of course. I tried using Hamster35000VR's Porter, but it request RAM dumps of different region. Tried using RAM dumps of same region, but different version, however complains that it needs a different region or something, I can't remember exactly. If you do decide to create and release the Wii U auto porter of your app, I think the community would appreciate it. Especially those SSB4 codes that is floating around, I know it not 100% success rate, but it should be pretty good nonetheless.

To determine the effective duration of cheat codes. The codehandler is executed about 110 - 120 times a second. So a value of 0x78 would let the code(s) to be active for 1 second
That makes sense, especially useful for codes that only needs to be activated briefly and the effect sticks.

What's the address for the number of coins and rings for the USA version of Mario and sonic at the rio 2016 olympic games? The ones in this thread for the EUR version don't work on the USA version of the game.

Thank you so much for these codes! Finally beat that stupid Classic Mode on 9.0. I can confirm that the 999% Damage Codes work.
However, when there are more than four characters, only the first four are affected. Maybe you have codes for the other player slots as well?

Does somebody have Mario Kart 8 codes for 4.1 PAL? I really would appreciate them. I guess I just would need an infinite Star code
or something to beat the cups that I'm missing.

I dont think anyone wants to share MK8 codes, you will have to find them yourself i guess.
Just do a unknown Vallue search without a star and an unequel with a star, the you repeat that a few more times and maybe you will find it.
Well iam going to bed now, Good night guys!

At least it would be nice to point to the list of "mk8 item modifier". Everyone has to begin somewhere but you should not have to reinvent the wheel.

Here you can share your cheat codes with the community and find new ones!

Code:
Mario Kart values - look here
Item IDs:
---------------
00 = Single Banana
01 = Single Green Shell
02 = Single Red Shell
03 = Single Mushroom
04 = Bobomb [B]Bob-Omb[/B]
05 = Blooper/Squid
06 = Blue Shell
07 = Triple Mushroom
08 = Star
09 = Bullet Bill
0A = Lightning
0B = Golden Mushrooms
0C = Fire Flower
0D = Pirana plant [B]Piranha Plant[/B]
0E = Boomerang
0F = Coin
10 = Super Horn
11 = Triple Banana
12 = [B]Triple Green Shells[/B]
13 = Triple Red Shells
14 = Crazy 8

Here's a hint you NEED to find 2 or more addresses.
If you do figure things out, please act responsibly.

But if you can't be responsibly at least try to be funny.(and expect to be banned)

I'm hot on the trail of some more Yoshi's Woolly World [PAL/Disc] codes. A lot of things use pointers in this game. Will keep the thread updated as I make progress.

EDIT: Argh, pointers for things like hearts reset every time Yoshi dies. >~<

[0x3DDF4EC0] - 0x367

If anyone wants to continue hunting for the exact pointers needed based on this info, be my guest. Otherwise I'll continue it tomorrow.

EDIT: I forgot to check Allow Pointers within Pointers in the Pointer Searcher, so these may not be correct.

I feel really stumped guys. Something as basic as finding coins for Paper Mario: Color Splash. The coins can go as high as 9999, so I search using 32 bit and 16 bit but I dont get any results. Any ideas anyone?

I managed to find an address at the very end of the allowed address (it is the 1st time I find a value after 0x3C000000): 0x4DD67638-3B; changing that value you can change the amount of coins but they suddenly start to decrement reaching the original value in less than a second. Range scanned is between 0x4DD0000 and 0x4E200000; if you try to search between 0x4E2xxxxx and 0x4F000000 (I am not able to identify the precise address) the console crashes probably for out-of-bound limit.

If someone wants to investigate further maybe this finding will save you lot of time ;)

I would like to try this but actually I don't really know how I should do this, because it's hard to get a Star in the game in the first place.
And when I got one and do the search the right address wouldn't pop up at the first time, so I would have to get another one.
This could get very annoying.

I'm sorry, but couldn't just somebody please PM me an infinite Star code like this or something? I don't like Online Gaming and therefore would never use it online.

Iam not even shure if this is how to search it.
And also isn't there a way to only allow some items?

I have absolutely no idea about making a Wii U code. I just tried to interpret what you said.
It's possible to allow only some items but when you want a Star you have to choose All Items.

i dont know how to realy make them either. I was able to do codes like Magic, Items (HW), Coins and Lives but they are pretty easy.

I remember messing with that game, too; so far, I haven't been able to find anything like watermelon ammunition. But, I did find things like Beads, The Transformation timer, HP, things like that... but, I'm an NTSC-U user, so...

Still, you're way ahead of me. I discovered the address for the bead count (that one was easy because it was a fixed address), and I'm still working on getting the correct pointers for the HP.

Please tell me how you did it. I set my memory range to 10 from 1000000 to 4500000. Then I set the data type to 32bit and start searching for specific value, but I never come across anything.
