Homebrew Alright, I somehow got the decoy system up to 9.2. Now, how do I access the eShop?

I don't get it. I thought we gotta get the system to 9.2, not 11.0.
Did you actually read the guide when you did it?
  1. Update your CFW SysNAND to the latest version using system settings (if it is not already)
    • If you copied a firmware.bin to /luma/ earlier, delete it after updating or you won't be able to boot

No, you can simply make a Redirection Nand (EmuNand or RedNand) in case you don"t have Arm9LoaderHax, update the Redirection Nand, install the save in the Redirection Nand, make a backup to the SD of the DSiWare with the save for DSiWareHax already here from System Settings, then copy all "Nintendo 3DS" folder from your SD Card to your PC to can have a backup for safety, and then transfer from the Redirection Nand to the other console.
In case you have Arm9LoadeHax you will be able to do the same but with the System Nand instead of a Redirection Nand.
To say you can access the eShop in 9.2.0-X as long your console isn"t from European region but you can"t transfer from 9.2.0-X anyways.

Yeah, I would expect that the other system does get all its data overwritten. So it might be worth using JKSM to back up any save data that you might care about preserving.

You don't. A system transfer by definition involves overwriting everything on the target system. However, you can use save managers like JKSM to back up and preserve savegames, and any legitimate games that you've purchased are still tied to your NNID, so you'll be able to redownload them when you add your NNID back onto the system after modding it.

Oh, so I don't have to worry about my games then. Okay. Thanks!

Whatever you do, DON'T move the data from the source to the target BEFORE the transfer. The data needs to be in the source so that it can be converted properly. If you move it before the transfer, none of the stuff in the source will be able to be used in the target.

I've gone over that part. I'm now starting to install arm9loaderhax in my current system now.

Alright. Starting all over again. This time in sysDowngrader. Whenever I press Y to downgrade to 9.2, it keeps giving me this "did not get am:u handle, please reboot" error.

Luxer, please.
Nobody is gonna help you if you don't take the time to read. We've all done the whole process with patience and a lot of reading.
Please go back the the guide, read it, read it again, try to follow it... and when you get stuck come back and ask the questions.
You will get help, but you must cooperate with the people trying to help you.

So, reading your issue, I suppose you're at 9.2.0 Downgrade, section 2, step 3. Which states the following:
  1. Press (Y) to downgrade to 9.2.0
  2. If you are stuck being unable to acquire the am:u service, power off your 3DS by holding the power button and try again (this can take many tries)

I took my time and patience to read, sometimes, your're still gonna run into problems and ask others for help. No one is that perfect to flow with the instructions and succeed. Not everyone's the same way. You can tell someone who lost their way that the exit is where you're pointing and give the person a map. It wouldn't be difficult for you because, you've been through the process and succeeded. The person you help gave the direction will encounter pathways and obstacles that you didn't mention and he'll/she'll require more help. That's similar with the downgrade. You can say, "Read follow this guide." and I'll do as what you say, however, I'll still run into problems. The guide isn't cakewalk ya'know? Heck, I still run into problems using Google Maps.

Anyway, I got every done. arm9loaderhax is in my current 3DS system. I'm finished and we can now close this topic.

I've done the whole process 5 times successfully.
The 6th failed and I bricked a friend's console.

It was my fault because I've got distracted, not because the guide was not clear enough.

Things can always fail, but you're less prone to failure if you play close attention to the instructions given.

Glad you could make it trough in the end.

Like I said, not everyone's 100% successful on their first try. But thank you for the compliment.
