Well i do feel that is a option, but like i said, a "option" so it doesn't mean people will choose this option naturally. Somehow i always feel as communities get too large, it starts to have problems, is common for any kind of community. The thing is that is not impossible. Just highly unlikely especailly when there is many people who are against it for reasons i wouldn't know but is how it will be and trying to moderate or effectively manage that is no easy task. Community managers have probably hated their job and position finding it a never ending struggle and i can see why from a perspective of the people i commonly interact with, that isn't limited to just here but at a store or even on the street.
Either way, if this is true and possible, many will be happy and we can move on to even better things like preparing our bodies for nintendo nx mods if possible.
do you have any proof that it is legit? the internet doesn't work on claims alone.
im just saying that soundhax looked fake - or at least looks like he launched the homebrew launcher from a emulated system or A9LH sysnand based on the video. from my perspective, i think he just did some fancy haxx on an already hacked system

No, it's definitely legit. If you've been lurking in developer channels (#Cakey being the only public one he's in, but he's in other private ones) you'd have watched him reverse engineer existing systems and describe the bugs he's using in detail.
well, this is sorta nice. I have heard of lots of expiots being found by devs, but they don't release it for what ever reason, be it they don't want to allow piracy, or for the good of the scene. Don't get too excited, this may or may not be released. I would be kinda nice if this thread got closed now, everyone understands 11.0 may be the new 9.2, and it this thread has already derailed enough.
fwiw, he does plan on releasing everything, but he wants current exploits to be patched first, that way we have as much coverage as possible when the 3ds reaches EOL (he's also planning on keeping some exploits private until EOL)

Pretty much, yeah. When you say "arm9 exploit", you really mean a Process9 exploit, because Process9 runs in arm9 userland. In theory, you would still have to compromise the arm9 kernel, but since Process9 has access to a syscall that "literally takes whatever code you pass in and runs it in kernel mode" (quoted from the 32c3 conference) taking over Process9 is enough to compromise the entire console.
I'm intrigued yet skeptical.
