Some of the older straight up rainbow 6 games I found quite enjoyable, though that was mainly because at the time I could not get a setup capable of doing Delta Force properly. By similar token the slightly older ghost recon games did OK but have long since been completely and utterly surpassed, and more recent offerings were just so very silly.
Vegas I guess has been merged into mainline rainbow 6 now (for a while it was billed as a separate deal). It might be still just about playable and for a while around here it lived on as a party/contest type game but I doubt I will have a desire to play it again, and if I do it will just be because I found a copy in the box o' games.
I don't regret the splinter cell games but at the same time I would rather have had a new thief game instead, and I am on record as having quite enjoyed Conviction.
Not properly played the division but it looks pretty poor when I saw it played. Functional but nothing going on with it. Also I can live even with morrowind style "your crosshairs lined up but RNG says miss" but the numbers thing there annoyed me and I was only watching.
Hawx I guess was a flight sim (albeit seriously arcade bent) when there were not many alternatives. I would still look to older games or said alternatives when all was said and done.
So yeah I guess Tom Clancy games, much like the books and films, are filler material. Enjoyable but nothing that has stuck with me.
