the way i believe theyre going to market it is

you can play nx games on both console or premium controller/handheld. BUT it wont look as shiny or as high res on handheld.
talk abut the specs and abilities
then theyll announce an assortment of mind blowing features they didnt include before.
then theyll announce the games lineup.
then they say... oh and if you decide to only get the controller you'll miss out on this...
only available on the nx console... (BOOM bombshell)

what the nintendo investors meeting confirmed was its ability to be able to incorporate VR, so a minimum of 4 teraflops, which is the new spec standards i guess.

But what is confirmed with this statement is that, in terms of flops, its already more than twice the power of an old ps4 and xbox1 (1.84tF).
So what does that mean?... It effectively killed the old ps4 and xbox1 for people that dont have one.
And for the people who have one but want an upgrade?..you should probably go nintendo because the Neo and Scorpio wont do anything better besides better framerate and VR

I did not see anything actually suggesting this. Buying a top pc and vr headset is also investment. The only thing suggested to be 4tf is ps4k. NX 2.0 however should be capable.
Anyone want to play star fox zero on vr (change to tail camera with just a button)? And flying a plane is a lot harder than play star fox, which is already more complicated than every other flying simulator.

What we DO know is that nintendo refuses to fail with their devices, the wiiu was proof. Therefor i can assume its not going to be underpowered like the now garbage system ps4(aka ps3.5)*. So when they say they have the core power to run vr, im assuming core vr which is 'minimum' 4 teraflops. Ps4 can do vr but not very good at all apparently. The highest tiered polaris, rx480 (released 06.29.16 retail $230) has 5.5 teraflops, but non retail is around $90 for companies, its REALLY CHEAP.

*i say xb1/ps4 is garbage because all the games are the same ips from the ps3 era and play the exact same only with better visuals and more bugs and you have to pay more for services or be connected online to access stuff you bought online like dlc

You were pretty quick. But do you think this might have more to do with Sapphire than AMD if they somehow modify the board? And custom pcie(even mxm2) can easily handle the problem.
I thought you are a Nintendo doomer. But yes, xbox one and ps4 sucks now, but they need this to not sell at a loss, and the online service is not entire terrible since they also come with games, something Nintendo may as well join(in this case my Nintendo points).

they only thing is that they cant label it as pci "E" because drawing too much power will fry cheap motherboards. Im not nintendoomer i was outlining the many things that can go wrong. Nintendo can do everything right and still not sell because people cant get past the idea that sony and microsoft have been sucky lately. I hated that the online is needed to play media, use the headphone app, use DLC. Its bogus because i felt how crappy the machine was when my internet went out for a month a long time ago

everything points to it not being that, they mentioned they have the core tech to run vr so i highly doubt it. At this point i want to know if there is a gimmick, what it is and how do the games look like in comparison to ps4/xb1

Both are present and done better than smartphone with the 3ds despite inferior power.

I been hearing a lot elsewhere about the nx and that 3d or AR might be incorporated into the machine WITHOUT the glasses. That would be amazing. I already felt that nintendo silently showed it in StarFox short.

Just Dance has been confirmed as a NX release at least hinting that there WILL be a camera, and if thats the case then i bring you the example that i already showed.

With Ubisoft saying its going to support the NX and Ghost Recon Wildlands coming out in March 2017 you can all but guarantee thats one of its launch games

Not enough. The only four guaranteed right now is Ghost Recon Wildlands, Just Dance 2017, Zelda breath of the wild and DQ(12?)

I think Nintendo will go into a whole different direction using the new Nintendo console as a gateway to kickoff their idea. Im basically going off my former theory of the Codename NX web i made way back along with supermetaldave theories of what the supplemental computing device ( SCD) could be, which is home server device that can interconnect into a vast network.

nintendo will simultaneously release a subcription Nintendo gaming service app in which itll use the SCD to stream gmes WITHOUT the need for hardware.

understand its not new new tech but it will be implemented differently, its actually achievable on the ps4 with the Vita-play along with the gameshare function no one uses in which you can access a friends games library through the internet and stream their games onto your console only instead of having a ps4 to tie them together Nintendo will use a subscription app to tie them onto any smart device
