Don't know yet, i'm deciding between the siivagunner Fly me To The Moon video (because i would love to troll my unsupecting friends), just editing the original opening with the SUPER SMAASH BROTHERS yell from the 101 extravanganza, or maybe that fanmade opening with fighting stars as the bgm, forgot what it was called.

Do you have any recommendations?

I have the fanmade one with fighting star bgm but I added the "SUPER SMASH BROTHERS" from Smash 64 in the end :P

I'm trying to edit the msbt files but they doesn't work at all. i extracted menu.msbt, edited some stuff with the editor, replaced it with smash file explorer and packed the mod.

Am i missing something?

Yeah, Fighting Stars seems to be the best pick considering the giiva vid cuts out way before the end thanks to the 1:44 limit. Fighting Stars ends almost at that time so it's much less jarring.

I know TS4M's texture pack had some expanded slots (most notably Falcon having a copy of everyone per slot), but how I go about adding extra slots to characters? Just name the folder +1 after the last folder?

Will they need cosmetics as well?

Ive only tried with sound.msbt but it looks like you're doing the right thing.
Ill have a bit of time this saturday to look at it, I can check and see if I have the same issue.

The files alone aren't enough to tell the game that there are more costumes, at least from what I understand.

Edit the character's ui_character_db.bin file using SammiHusky's param editor. It's the 8th param in the file, listed as 7. The default for everyone (expect Little Mac) is 8. So you just set it to however many costumes you want them to have, and then make a new folder for each costume you just added.

It's that easy? I'll look at it later.

How about the CSS? What would I do with the portraits? I saw a texture editor that you posted just recently. Would I use that to add the extra portraits and icons?

I know you can get custom music from BrawlCustomMusic, but is there a tool that will let me make my own custom music from scratch?

You must make sure the files are from the same version (the actual version is v244), else they didn't work. It is what happened to me. That's why i did the undub by myself

Thanks guys! the files that i was using all the time were v208

I have another question, in order to undub by myself, i need the japanese version of smash?

Well if you already have the files from the core game (unpatched), you can just reuse them.
Then, just download the JAP patch.

jap sounds are NOT contained in the US/EUR version. The "core" version, even for the JPN game, is english.

Please Help.

For Smash in character directories, there are 'packed' files with no extension. I tried looking up how to extract them and nothing shows besides something called Offzip which didn't work. Does anyone know how to access/extract them?

I have a good hunch that those files can be packed (into that one file) or unpacked (like on the disc) with Sm4shExplorer, but I would like to know how to extract them as well.

Has it been shown how to add (not replace) music to Sm4sh yet? If not, do we at least know how to edit music titles?
