Homebrew [Request] Proper Ninjhax guide for sysNAND 10.7? (and then some)

Almost all of the guides I've seen only mention the hack (Along with OOThax and SSB), while others just skip over it entirely. Ones that do talk about installing it aren't talking about 10.7.
Do we have a proper guide, preferably both in text/video format, that is specifically for installing Ninjhax on a 10.7 (Both O3DS and N3DS)?
The official Ninjhax website has no mention of 10.7, and it mentions QR codes but where do you get those? Especially for 10.7? This is why we need a proper tutorial!
Also, do we have the pros and cons comparison to running 10.7 sysNAND/emuNAND versus downgrading to their 9.2 variants? (Certain games won't run, specific homebrew to stay away from because it'll brick your s***, etc)

just select the latest one and scan that qr code

10.7 sys/emuNAND allows you to play online so there is literally no point being on 9.2 unless you have an emunand

Something tells me you didn't read much of the ninjhax page... http://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/#qrcode . There is no point in writing a guide specifically for one single entrypoint either, since the only difference is that you are using this game as an entrypoint. The reason why they do not do this is because there are other guides for setting up homebrew on various entrypoints.

If you see a tutorial for 10.6 anywhere, it's the same thing. Just scan the WR code corresponding to you system version on the Ninjhax website.

If you actually have a way to run a copy of Cubic Ninja of your 3DS region (legit cart or sky3ds), you'll need only to follow the actual Ninjhax2 site: https://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/
All the info you'll need to get homebrew running using ninjhax is there.
If you're talking about other *hax (like OoT ou Vhax) you'll need to follow other guides at the link @pbanj provided.

Why I've gone and made a fool of myself.
I kept getting links to the original Ninjhax everywhere I went. lmao.
There is no mentioning on that site of Ninjhax 2 and there should be.

BUT, when I get Cubic Ninja (I got that 1 day shipping so it says it is on track to get here today), I'll hopefully make a noob-friendly video and put it on here.

They have tutorials for specifically OOThax and all that crap so why not?

Now that that (double word thing, yeah) is out of the way, the other question.

10.7emunand is fine and with a9lh 10.7 sysnand is fine. all games will work just fine. i do know some homebrew(stuff launched from the homebrew menu) doesnt work right on fw over 9.2, not sure hwat ones.

Haha, yeah, see, we need some breakdown of what homebrew works on what versions. Maybe someone (Maybe me I dunno if I'm up to it) can go through each thread and see which homebrews are supported on what FW and make a sticky. called "Homebrew Firmware Compatibility and related FAQ" or some stuff.

Tools like Decrypt9 or the CIA-installing tools won't work over 9.2, because they need permissions to perform their functions. Generally you can work out beforehand which homebrew will need 9.2 or less - if they do something with the NAND they'll need permissions (e.g. making and restoring NAND backups like Decrypt9 or installing non-legit CIAs like CIAngel or FBI). If a homebrew is just a game, or some tools that don't need permissions, they should work over 9.2. If a game requires 9.2 or less, probably that programmer is relying on some old stuff which they don't need to, and they should update their stuff (not that I know a lot about 3DS programming, so could be wrong).

Edit: of course CIA-installers just need signature patching, whereas for Decrypy9 that's not enough. I can't think of more tools like Decrypt9 but I'm sure there are some.

You can still have a 9.2 sysNAND and 10.7 emuNAND if you want to, with menuhax. You might cop a bit of flak but ignore them :-) Decrypt9 can access both your sysNAND and your emuNAND no matter which one you launch it from. So if you want to backup your emuNAND for example, you can launch it in sysNAND. On A9LH you use the payloads on boot as you already know.

All I need to do to accomplish that is unlink my NANDs and then update my emuNAND, right? (Should be able to now that everything is updated and it is practically a new OS)

Yep that's right. To install menuhax, change themes in sysNAND then run homebrew and choose the menuhax installer. If you previously had menuhax on sysNAND before creating your emuNAND, also change themes on emuNAND (to avoid infinite boot loop).
