Discard Moonshell launcher, it's not useful for you.
Your twl_firm is correctly patched. Your problem seems to be your cart. Launch either of the launchers with the cart completely pushed with your in the slot and see the magic.

Using WoodM3 ? Let me guess, you use emunand and you didn't install the loader to both emunand and sysnand.
Might be off topic, but need help getting an old ds cart working on 3ds. The cart is call R4i 3DS Revolution. I lost track of what kernel the cart use. The cart icon is show as Metroid Prime demo. Also which cia should I use. I think I recall the cart can't get firmware 4.5
No I'm using CFW sysNAND 10.7 Luma 5.4 with A9lh. Do I have to install this launcher? Because I can see in Aurora's Wright wiki that old DS flashcarts should work, as the TWL is pre-patched...
Oh, so you didn't read the OP. TWL_FIRM patching, for DS/DSi era carts, allows the loader to launch those carts.
Only 3DS era DS flashcarts can be directly launched from system menu (actually not all of them. For some you still need a launcher).

Do you use a boot manager ? Or BootAnim9 ?

Tried it already, I get stuck on that loading screen. I know the o3ds detects it because it comes up as "Unknown Card" in DevMenu.
They don't work.
Try renaming R4.dat to TTMenu.dat, or use the R4i Gold Launcher.

The R4i Gold Launcher leaves me on a white screen, while renaming the R4 file doesn't change anything.
EDIT: Oh, Idk if it'll help, but on my 1.4.5 DSi (which was accidentally updated), the R4i shows as Deep Labyrinth
