Hardware Baseless Nintendo NX speculation thread

I'm honestly predicting that gameboy is right about the NX portable releasing in march of 2017. HOWEVER, I honestly believe that they will pull a DS reveal at E3 this year with the console (Reggie: "And you can play it TOMORROW!"). I don't know if they'll necessarily release it quickly after E3, but I think that they are winding up for a huge reveal completely out of the left field

(Yes, I know I'm setting myself up for disappointment, but that would be amazing if I were right)

half-life 3 confirmed exclusive for NX.

the NX controller only accepts user input via feet and buttocks, providing sensory feedback in the form of braille dots.

And there's no video output whatsoever. The system is entirely designed for blind people!

They dont have to show the NX itslef or announced media capabilities or specs but they can certainly reveal its true name, unless the name gives away its never before seen feature. If Nintendo just wait until 2017 they will not be another gen behind. PC can easily out-spec gen 9 console over 5 times next year, so Nintendo might have to wait or repeat the wii u all over again. And smart phone can replicate gimmick easily.

PC gaming is more reliant on the graphics cards rather than the processor, The most popular amd gaming cpu is the fx 8350 which came out all the way in 2012. The new gaming processor in the Polaris family is coming out this year. All nintendo has to do is add a decent graphics card and it can compete with consumer spec pcs for awhile because realistically no one really pays more than about $900 for a gaming rig

And zen. Octa-core (or six) zen can easily get 16 (12) threads, enough for proper ps3 emulation. Zen's current estimation is between haswell and boardwell, with equivalent energy efficiency. If polaris 10 rumour is true, Ps4k will get 980 level of performance.

I only bought nintendo because of the FREE online play. Thanks keep it up.

Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft all screwed it up big time. Kinda makes me wish they'd have stuck to the 7th gen consoles until they were fully ready to release new consoles with new games than HD remasters.

I know that PS4 is the most profitable console of the three but honestly, as a customer that doesn't really matter to me since what I want is more and new games.

They have a new machine quit making n64, gc, wiiu, wii games anymore.

oh man, that game WAS trash along with the 3ds version. I can even describe it.

Im waiting on "Samus Returns" metroid ended with fusion and the prime series with 3. They really need to continue the story without metroid. Hell i saw the doom commercial the first time two days ago and thought it was a better metroid clone, obviously before i found out it was Doom
