Looks awesome! It seems most have read the writing on the wall though...while it would be nearly impossible, wouldn't it be cool if they didn't release anything until this project was finished, then posted it up to a few sites with a torrent, then there is nothing Capcom could do. But I suppose without many of us RE2 fans clamouring for this, it would be difficult for the creators to have the motivation to finish this huge project. Regardless, I wish them luck, and maybe Capcom will take a note from this project and put out a remake of RE2 (preferably with RE4 style controls :gba:

remember the 3D CT game that got C&D'd? 2off topic but F-you Square at least take the idea and make it into a reboot of one of your games like that FF title you announced for PS4/XBONE

Final Fantasy 7 reboot tba in 12/2015.

I actually looked up the chrono trigger reboot and it didn't look all that bad, the characters need to blink dammit.

Good job people, instead of actually supporting the project, you all go "oh who cares it'll get C&D anyway."
What kind of support is that?
Capcom hasn't (as far as I know) ever given a C&D. And I doubt they'd care about a fan project like this eating their sales, because the moment they decide to say they're remaking RE2 in the same style as the REmake and considering the quality of the REmake, they have guaranteed sales.
Still, I wish makers of these fan games would just release it out of nowhere, you can't fear a C&D if your work is secret, after all. Chrono Resurrection should have done that.

Because supporting something that will get C&D'd probably seems like a waste of time to a lot of people. Why get your hopes up for something that is guaranteed to disappear? Thinking that Capcom won't C&D this is wishful thinking at best.

There's nothing guaranteed. Do you work at Capcom or something?
Besides, there are ways around a C&D. I wouldn't worry about it.
